PLJ, to me the answer is that politics are meant to deal with facts.
But each man's idea that he has a corner on the truth is what makes for political parties.

So to answer your question, surely truth CAN BE in politics, but truth is what does for each of us, gives us to reach within for the best we can be, and reach out to bring our best to others.

PLJ, with that ...let me ask you, what is the truth you live by?

Principles of seventeen seventy six. Democracy,respect,honor,truth and whats good for America...even today. I am aware the issues have changed and I with them. We have lost a lot of Christians principles since seventeen seventy six. Politics have changed drastically. They were not professional politicians then as we have now. The separation of church and state should be separated...but with respect of each others opinion for the whole and not the chosen few.

Todays political process is totally corrupt, we the people failed to check the people we elected for there personal ideas of democracy. I for one cannot see any hope for a Christian democracy but a secular one instead. There will never be any compromise between a Christian and secular, nothing but war. If you do not stand up for what you believe in you will fall for anything (country song. pljames

Dear PLJ,

You entitled your last post in this thread, Truth {you} live by.

But I do not see only a blanket description as Christian...

What points are you willing to share, specific points that you live by and that you wish to see restored to the moral fabric of our nation and the political foundation of our government and the statesmen that we elect?


Please give some very specific points. Otherwise I cannot be of any help. And I do like to help. : )
