vBulletin, which is the software used for this forum, will be releasing a newer version within a couple of weeks. Everyday i've been checking and the "Gold" or "Final" release has not been released yet. Once that is released, all of you will be very surprised at the new features!
There will be a news section which will automatically post latest news from any news source web site (such as CNN,FOX,etc.) Everyone is then able to debate on the latest news. This should encourage more debates on the latest news happening in the world today.
Just a loooong list of new stuff coming along soon. Once we are upgraded, I will be installing an "Album" which I am sure a lot of you remember was a cool feature from the older design of about 6 months ago.
Oh yes...Blogs. The expected release date for the blog software will be sometime in September. It will only cost $50 for the software which is no biggy...
My main goal is to encourage good debates and a friendship bond between everyone here on Defending the Truth. I know some of us are farrrr right or farrr left, which makes it difficult for some of us to bond with, but we are all humans with 'opinions' and I think some people need to remember that. Yea I think some opinions I have read are completely wack, but hey it's your opinion and you are entitled to that.
Continue to have fun! Hope the games section allows for some of us to cool off from the heated debates. Although I am pretty aggravated that I can't beat hevusa in that damn chopper game! Someone beat him! |

I don't have a good idea of everyone's side of the fence, but I'll state right off that I am conservative. I've always been conservative, though I thought I was a democrat during my early adult years; I've recovered from that confusion.
My position is based on a clear sense of right and wrong and I don't often see fuzzy shades of grey. If I see fuzzy grey then I take that as a sign I'm not well enough informed about the issue.

Level up: 14%, 44 Points needed | | Hi all,
I'm your basic middle aged, liberal Democrat. I consider myself, more classic liberal than progressive. I have no problem going after those to the left of me, just as hard as I take on those to my right.
I found this place through an ad on another forum that's been down for a week, and decided to check things out. Seems like a nice little community.
BTW, if you don't know who the real Dick Tuck is, he was a very clever political dirty trickster who focused on making Nixon's life miserable. One of my favorites was him dressing up as a train conductor. When Nixon began to deliver a speech from the back of the train, he signaled the conductor to take off. |
