Hi Dick! I am glad to see you here. I hope you enjoy your stay here and hope it is a long one.

And the ones that mother gives you don't do anything at all.

BTW, if you don't know who the real Dick Tuck is, he was a very clever political dirty trickster who focused on making Nixon's life miserable. One of my favorites was him dressing up as a train conductor. When Nixon began to deliver a speech from the back of the train, he signaled the conductor to take off.
Welcome to the neighborhood, DT. Hmmm to the conductor.

People would throw things, start fights, etc. In my web design class, I decided to make a political debate web site for my project. I got an A- on the project, but you guys should have seen the original design in January 05! Very very horrible! A couple of months later the site picked up and I decided to do a complete overhaul and things just picked up from there.

I stumbled across your site a few days ago and I must say I am impressed with the site and the posters here. It definitely seems more civilized than most. You have done an excellent job.

Welcome to the DtT, Dr. DJ!

So I quickly looked at your profile to see you are a moderate from Texas. Hmmm...good to know.

I am wondering, since you are a Texan and yet a moderate, would you mind sharing how you view the current president. Did you closely follow his political career, even before he came to work in The Oval Office, and if you don't mind sharing, did you ever, and do you now support him?

I live in Texas now because my daughter moved here with her husband and she is having a baby in about a month. I am originally from St. Louis, home of the reigning World Champion Cardinals, thank you very much.

I am a registered Democrat (but they are pissing me off with their lack of, um, testicular fortitude). I call myself a moderate because I hold views that can be attributed to both right and left: For instance, I support capital punishment AND a woman's right to choose. I support gun rights, but with some common sense restrictions/protections in place. I supported the attack on afghanistan to the point of attempting to re-enlist. I did not support the decision to abandon afghanistan in favor of iraq.

To answer your question: The only aspect of geroge w. bush that I support is his impeachment, removal from office and indictment and subsequent jail time.

He is an aberration. His entire time in office has been a horrible mistake and so far over 3500 of our troops have paid with their lives.
Don't support a man or a party, support AMERICA.
