Yeah I remember taking German in high school. Every year there was a volleyball game between the major foreign language classes. Well lets just say there was a lot of conflict in the school...even among the teachers. The main rivalry was between the French class and German class (obviously). Well...us German students ended up taking all of the furnature, books, materials, and other stuff out of the French room and took it hostage in the German room. They were forced to work on the floor.

But I think the best thing we did was we barracaded the French teacher in her room with desks outside her door. And made a white flag that was flying outside the French's door.

I took German as well.

I can't say I had any times that were quite that much fun related to german though...

Sorry about that, lads. I should've mentioned that I'm a girl...although I don't see what difference it makes lol. My name's Constance, it's an Olde English name. I know I am somewhat of an oxymoron, being a French conservative. Believe me, if you had to live under a Socialist government all your life, you'd probably be conservative as well. So yeah, I'm sorry for any misunderstanding I may have caused.

By the way, I found the German class vs. French class anecdote really amusing. Unfortunately, I took Spanish so there was no one to fight...except the Americans.

A French girl that took Spanish in school. I'm afraid I just don't have any stupid smart alec comment for that one!

It doesn't really matter what sex you are, but in all seriousness it is nice to have a female point of view.

I can definately understand how growing up under socialism would make you conservative. Socialism is Extreme Liberal Nonsense that doesn't work. As demonstrated time, and time and time again.

As for me, I am a firm believer in the free market.
