Unhappy New boot, Again.
Hello All,
New here, so bear with me. About me. Marine back in early 70's. Didn't go to Vietnam. My son, also a Marine, just got out after 2 tours in Iraq. Been posting on other forums and hate to say it but being ex anything is like a disease in the eyes of many. Reminiscent of the 60's and 70's. Makes me mad and sad.
I believe Iraq is where we need to be. I can clearly see the threat of Iran.
N Korea is a constant threat. S America is going to the dogs. Other than that all is well.

Welcome to the forums! I do not agree with tristanrobin that anyone who is an ex-republican, has his head on his soldiers. I honestly feel that excessive taxes hurts job growth and the economy. Bush cut taxes and look at what happened, he got us out of Clinton's recession, even though we were attacked.

Anyways, welcome to the forums! And I thank you for your service as well as your sons. You guys are what keeps America safe.

I was in the Navy's Spec Ops about that time. I DID go to Vietnam, and let me tell you, you didn't miss anything worth seeing...LOL.
