Smile Hello, everyone!
Hello, everyone! I'm caffeinebuzzchick. I live in northern Illinois. I enjoy--among lots of other things-- independent and foreign films, Family Guy, The Simpsons (which I make oblique references to often), lots of kinds of food (especially Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Indian), knitting, crocheting, line dancing and hanging out with friends. I look forward to interesting political discussions and meeting people. I'm married and I have 3 lovely little kitties.

Take care!!!!

--- help me Instant Runoff Voting, you're my only hope ---

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

Hi there Buzz...if that's your reeeal name.

Say, what are your all time favorite Simpson's episodes?

I’d say my favorite episodes are; Deep Space Homer, Homie the Clown, Homer Defined, and Treehouse of Horror I.

Some of my all-time faves are:
Selma's Choice (some of the best lines EVER... "Come to Homercles!", "I AM THE LIZARD QUEEN", among others.)
I Love Lisa (topical!)
Last Exit to Springfield ("Hired goons?!")
$pringfield (or: How I learned to stop worrying and love legalized gambling)
The baseball team episode (whose title escapes me at the moment)

(I'm not going to post my real name but I thought I had told it to you on IM?)

Hi CBC,

I often sit with a coffee while visiting the forums! So perhaps you and I can have a coffee together, so to speak.

Enjoy posting and sharing who you are and what you believe.

Actually, I was referencing Homer's statement when he met "Buzz" Aldrin during the Deep Space Homer Simpsons episode.

Some great Simpsons episode selections, by the way.

From $ringfield:

Burns: Aw, my beloved plant. How I miss her -- bah! To hell with
this. Get my razors! Draw a bath! Get these kleenex boxes
off my feet.

Smithers: Certainly, sir. And, uh, the jars of urine?

Burns: Oh, we'll hang onto those. Now, to the plant! We'll take the
Spruce Moose. [picks up the model airplane] Hop in!

Smithers: But, sir --

Burns: [pointing a gun] I said, hop in.

A big welcome from me too! See you on the board.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong. ~Richard Armour

There are many men of principle in both parties in America, but there is no party of principle. ~Alexis de Tocqueville
