Boring Biography
Seeing as every other BC recruit has done a little bio, here's mine.

I'm 36, married, two little girls.

Used to own and run a small restaurant a few miles outside London but increasing beaurocracy and decreasing disposable income plus the growing family meant that last year I decided to get out and enjoy my life. I sold the shop, sold the house and four weeks ago moved to Poland. My wife is Polish and both kids have no problems with the language, so it's just me that can't talk but I'll learn. The plan is to buy a few flats and be a landlord with some English teaching on the side.

Politically I'm very right wing but also very libertarian. I'm very intelligent but often not as much as I think. I have a very dry sense of humour which without the body language can make me seem very patronising.

A long way from Warsaw. The closest large airport is Berlin, I'm about 45 miles from the German border.

Even harder to say. I swear the language is just an excuse to get gold medals in scrabble.

Oh... ok.

I'm curious... is there any leftover damage or equipment from the Russians and or the German war machines (ww2) in the area you live in? I know there were many significant battles in your area at the time of the Soviet advance on Berlin from January - April 1945.
