I notice the other BCers have done their intros, and some of you have posted intros "over there", so I'll give it a go:

I'm 43, male, from London. I work for the London Underground, which is not the subversive political organisation the name might suggest but a subterranean railway - what you would call a metro I believe - known affectionately as "The Tube".

My profile doesn't include a political orientation for the simple reason that I don't fit neatly into any of the boxes... Left wingers will consider me right wing and vice versa, and that's the way I like it.

I'll have a bit of a lurk around the forums and see what's what before leaping in, but so far it looks like there'll be plenty for me to join in with... you have been warned.
