Yes I believe it has, we are taught to respect women but also understand that they have their place as we men do. As for the abortion issue, it is complicated and largely down to personal circumstances - why do you all seem so fanatical on this issue?

George, note the word "mostly", read my post again.
If you do not fall into this catagory then fine mate. If you want me to name names then just ask and I will.

In fact, to add to this I would say that I have stepped in better than most people on BC. A person without principles as most of them are is basically a waste of time and it is about time that the gutless amongst them actually admitted that they at least colluded in the persecution of a nice, respectable lady namely, Mags. And they call ME the Nazi!

Mags, Now I feel I left you out! It is not that I did NOT like your thoughts about abortion. What I did not find likeable was your disregard for others. For degrading people for the situations they get in to.

It may even surprise you to discover that I am pro-life! I am pro-life as a standard in my own life. In what I teach my children.

As a political issue though and as law, I am pro-choice. I do not believe in putting " my standards " into law.

Morality is a personal matter and ought not be open to legislation, imho.

On the issue of abortion? Here it has been made quite the weight of political platform for the candidates. Largely by the religious right influencing the political arena and thereafter the government.
