Oh, don't get me wrong folks. I am ALL FOR the sappy, lovey-dovey stuff. I hope and pray that if/when I do get hitched again... it's still there when she and I are 98 years old and leaning on our walkers.

I was just saying if that's the ONLY thing you base a marriage on... in the absence of respect, real compatibility and true friendship... it probably won't last.

(who is Chris Daughtry? I'll have to look him up on Google or something.)

I have gotten "Richard Dreyfuss" more than a few times.. and even Bruce Willis once... which I thought was silly.... LOL.

ROFL!!!

Chris Daughtry was 4th runner up on the 4th season of American Idol.

He was the one everyone thought was going to win, but got eliminated.

Now he's the most successful of any in that season.

Ah, I see.

I don't watch television.

I have a T.V. set.. but all I use it for is movies on VHS and DVD. (When my sons stayed with me this summer, we watched all six Star Wars movies in sequence.. how's that for men wasting time together?)

I do think that's wonderfully ironic that he ended up bein the most succesful after being kicked off.... LOL!

Just to say...I loved Revenge of the Sith. Very politically revealing.

OhDear
Of the 6 movies, that was the only one I haven't seen, and never want to see.

I did, however, see the original Star Wars 18 times at the theater when it first came out in 1977. I was 14, and was totally mesmerized....

Bite your tongue! The viewing of good science fiction is never a waste of time.

I would classify Star Wars as fantasy.. not science fiction.

Either way, it's an excellent story and I like all the movies.

Have you ever seen Akira Kurosawa's 1954 Japanese film, "Seven Samurai?"

George Lucas' Star Wars films were somewhat influenced by this film.

(This is also the film that inspired the Film, "The Magnificent Seven.")

Seven Samurai was really good, but (blasphemy coming up here) I thought that The Magnificent Seven improved it!
