"We have 150 to 175 total gangs in the D.C. area, and out of those only nine where the predominance of members are female," he said. "You simply can't make the jump that they are lesbians. I think it is fair to talk about violence and female gangs. But to sensationalize or marginalize a community by making a statement like that seems irresponsible."


Confronted by the Intelligence Report, Wheeler was unable, in several phone and E-mail exchanges over a two-day period, to specify a single law enforcement agency or officer, police report, media account or any other source he relied upon for his D.C. area lesbian gangs claim. But he insisted that his report was accurate and that any law enforcement officer who disagrees is "out of touch." "For some reason or other, these organizations don't lay it on the line because they don't know what is going on on the streets," said Wheeler. "This is a serious crisis and the so-called experts are missing it."


According to Wheeler's personal website, he is a member of Jericho City of Praise, a conservative Christian megachurch in Landover, Md., whose leadership publicly advocates against equal rights for gays and lesbians. The website details Wheeler's 500-plus appearances on MSNBC, Court TV and Fox News Channel shows including "The O'Reilly Factor," "On the Record With Greta Van Sustern," and "Hannity & Colmes."

Don't you just love pathetic cop-outs like that. Wheeler can't find any sort of facts or statements by police to back up his claims, so he tries to sneak away by trying to squash any further discussion by vehemently insisting that he is right and insulting the intelligence of law enforcement.

BTW O'Reilly's ratings are twice that of Olbermann's. But I got to give Olbermann credit, he is the highest rated show on MSNBC. OInly behind, O'Reilly, Shepard Fox, and Hannity and Colmes.

Who said I hated Bill-O?

I like his advocacy for Jessica's Law, though to be fair, MSNBC does go one step further and actually goes after child predators with their "To Catch a Predator" sting operations. Also his immigration plan made a lot more sense than anything up on Capitol Hill.

I don't harbor any hatred for the guy, it's just that he seriously needs to check his facts before going on air. Americans were executed by Germans at Malmedy, not the other way around. There are about 150 gangs in the D.C area, not 150 lesbian gangs. Also, threatening callers? C'mon! At this point he should be above such lunacy.

Honestly guys, i assure you that the most embarrassing personality the USofA has ever fielded is that specimen of a lower primate called Billo.

The scary thing is that he isn't concerned with proving any particular point right.. He is concerned with proving HIMSELF right.

That my dear friends is a man who is EXTREMELY insecure about the size of his penis, and he compensates by being "right" about everything on his show.

He does not report news and he does not "interview" guests. He sanctifies OR villifies them NOT because of their individual opinions, but according to how much their opinions agree/disagree with HIS opinions.

O.Reilly is a man on a perpetual ego-trip, which he thinly veils as "patriotism"

You should see his latest rantings. A few smart-asses made a couple of idiotic comments on the left-wing political site, Dailykos.com, and now he's vilifying the site as a "far-left hate website", comparing them to the Neo-Nazis and the KKK. O'Reilly did check his facts. The fact that he did not mention the Germans killing Americans does not mean that he denied the event occuring. After the Germans killed Americans at Malmedy, then Americans killed Germans at Malmedy in retaliation. There is no excuse for either atrocity.

Are you sure Americans executed German POWs @ Malmedy? I can't find anything on that, but here are some articles on Germans executing American POWs at Malmedy.
