Personal gain will always be there for anyone.... be it a musician, artist, fuck even a mime.

Regardless of what you think of Moore's previous work, this movie stands out from the bunch and it probably puts a dagger in the heart of Clinton's chance of becoming the next president. How is that for objectivity?

Hmm, you seem to be a tough cookie to crack Tadpole. One minute you (rightfully) complain about the complacency of the media when it comes to the Bush administration and the war, and yet when a piece of media is actually critical you seem to complain about bias.

I for one have never heard Michael Moore claim to be unbiased. In fact I've heard him say otherwise. I for one have a bias against this administration, this war, and this shitty health care system; and I'm damn proud of it. Everything isn't relative, you're going to have to accept that the truth will come from somewhere. Perhaps he's wrong on some things, and right on others; but he doesn't claim to be fair and balance, nor is he supposed to be a source of completely impartial information as if he were on a major news network (hint hint).

In order for a film to be a documentary it doesn't have to be unbiased. In fact, on the contrary, it's not much of a documentary at all if it doesn't take a position and uncover some kind of truth. And I'd rather have someone making money uncovering the truth rather than covering it up.

You see, I am not saying I hate Moore... I recognize all that you said to be true, I just will not tout him as a hero, or even as anything great. He's biased, sure he biased in my favor, and I agree with him on many things but that doesn't make him right, or me for that matter. I believe in listening to both sides of an argument and recognizing that the truth actually lies somewhere in between. I take great issue with anyone who just agrees with someone because they are making movies that cater to one set of beliefs.

For the record I am not accusing you or hev of that, but Moore does inspire a lot of it, as does O'Reilly, in my mind, they are opposite ends of the same thing...

I don't really care what bias is involved if I think the result would be good for the American people.

That said HE BASHES Clinton's chances of running for president. I think this is Moore's least biased film thus far.

I can agree with you, tad, but until we get a little more fairness and less lies out of O'Reilly, Coulter, Limbaugh, Hannity, Savage, et al, then I say give Moore all the voice we can, since he seems to be the only one talking big for our side.

I can agree with that... But we should not get overly seduced with ourselves...

I saw this film today. I thought it was probably his best. I would recommend this film to anyone.
