And people ask me why I don't watch Fox News... Often I find more Fox (sly little creatures that like to slip away and hide themselves) and less News. I'm an MSNBC man myself.

Of course blacks focus on empowering the black community! It's in their self-interest and they have every right to do it as a favor to themselves and their loved ones. And it is a legitimate cause. Most of these campaigns aren't racist or separatist. They're aimed at fighting poverty and eliminating crime in poorer neighborhoods, and with weeding out racism as a social force.

It's in their own self-interest, and it's 100% fine because ultimately society benefits. A lot of people with FOX are just uppity when it comes to seeing minorities getting together and doing something to improve their communities and nation.

I flip between MSNBC, FOX News, and CNN, though with FOX it's largely entertainment. I tune in to O'Reilly to ridicule him. I dont know how many people do that, but I'd imagine at least a few people.

Hannity and Colmes would be more fun if it was Hannity and Cue Ball. If Sean Hannity and James Carville had a show I'd watch that, I don't care what channel it was on.

All of these networks believe the fact that controversy sells. That is why they continually fan the flames. Racism (or what passes for it) is one of the best tools to use. What is so wrong in anybody (no matter what color, or nationality) trying to improve themselves as a group? I think that the part using Mark Fuhrman making his statement (stupid one; I might add) was to quickly grab the veiwers. I wonder how much he was paid for that spot?

I think MSNBC did a debate between Al Sharpton and Christopher Hitchens. Both are widely criticized for intolerance and both are opposites in terms of their views. It was quite obviously sensationalism. If people wanted real information, they'd get more reliable correspondents instead of the ones who would be the most controversial.

Thank you, Antithesis. That was the word I was looking for:sensationalism. First of all, putting that idiot Al Sharpton on in any forum was just to guarantee controversy. I'm surprised that they didn't have Geraldo Rivera and a couple of Neo-Nazis on to really start something.
I'm sorry, but Al Sharpton really brings out my anger. Thinking that this idiot represents the black community is foolish. He represents his own self interests, nothing more. Just like he really was looking out for Tawana Brawley years ago.

Yeah... he isn't any better than that nitwit Jesse Jackson.

The good thing about Sharpton is you can depend on the Reverend Sharpton to always be the Reverend Sharpton.
