| Fox News' Gibson: We need another 9/11 First of all, I think you should view this first to put this in more of a context: glumbert.com - Jon Stewart's 9/11 commentary After you view the entirety of that commentary, check up on what John Gibson and his producer on Fox News has to say about 9/11, as well as the commentary in the first video here: Media Matters - Gibson and radio producer mocked Jon Stewart's "sobbing" remarks after 9-11, called him a "phony" I think this is the most despicable thing I have seen in a very long time. People get angry and protest (and now filing law suits) when someone like Don Imus calls a basketball team "nappy headed hoes". But when Fox News and their almost treasonous propaganda suddenly calls for another 9/11, while mocking the grief and sobbing of a New Yorker right after 9/11, there's not a peep of indignation (perhaps because only the like-minded listen to Fox News Radio). I'm just wondering if those fuckers John Gibson and his producer are willing to give themselves or members of their families up in this second 9/11 they're calling for. Sorry for my language but this should make anyone with a conscience just fucking sick. | pretty disgusting. --- help me Instant Runoff Voting, you're my only hope --- There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Wow, I believe Gibson is now in the running for "Asshole of the Century"... Gibson just mocked Jon Stewart's grief? What the hell? Making fun of a New Yorker for his sorrow over 9/11, that's just bullshit! The guy pours out his heart and soul on national television, breaks down in tears and they just... wow... that was just wrong... Also this "Angry Rich" guy, calling Stewart a phony because he cracks jokes at Bush's expense, you know I actually felt a little nausea after hearing these idiots BSing like that, just terrible... Fuck him and fuck Gibson. (Please pardon my french.) To make fun of a guy's grief and sorrow over 9/11... you're right Kat this was just sickening. Does everyone at Fox News act like this when they're on the radio? (I know that Hannity, O'Reilly, Gibson, and Colmes have radio talk shows, I'm not sure if anyone else from Fox does though.) I loved Jon Stewart's thoughts on 9/11, they were raw and uninhibited, yet truly inspiring. I believe he was dead on with what he told his audience. (I mean, what better view from your home in America, than The Statue of Liberty. You honestly IMO can't top that. Especially when that's the view after the towers fell!) He was right when he said that while "any fool can destroy", our unity, our fellow Americans coming together to unite and to rebuild after such a horror, was extraordinary. We weren't exactly holding hands on 9/10. The guy who called in Gibson's show made a good point IMO; we were united on 9/12. We were still united when we went after the Taliban and bin Laden in Afghanistan. There wasn't such a thing as "Two Americas", just one U.S. of A. If Bush didn't even try to get us into Iraq, if we caught Bin Laden while fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan, if we were actually fighting Al-Qaeda with all of our will and determination, who knows? We may have still held on to that sense of unity, just for a little longer at least. I think, and I'm sure all of you would agree, that we really don't need another 9/11; we don't need another terrorist attack on U.S. soil. We don't need another mass murder of innocent civilians to bring back that sense of unity, and anyone who thinks otherwise should seriously ask themselves if the ends justify the means. Hmmmm, I wonder if they would mind being one of the victims... Everything I say is a lie, and that is the truth. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| I find it strange that Gibson was looking at ways that would bring back unity amongst the people, and then mocking a person who was honestly expressing emotions about a national tragedy. How's that for unity? I also find it frustrating that anyone on Fox News would speak about unity, when all things on that channel are geared toward divisiveness. It's shameful. | |||||||||||||||||||||
