Your answer is good; but it works both ways, Gary. Those vows also say that you would forsake all others- if I remember correctly from my own wedding.
But yes, love should take precedence over pride. But that shouldn't be a license for one to forsake those wedding vows he or she took. I know that I would have a hard time forgiving my wife if she were cheating; so why she she have an easy time forgiving me? This is hypothetical, of course- I'm already divorced. But it wasn't because of infidelity on either of our parts.

I really don't think it's our place to judge someone's relationship, regardless of what it is.

There are many reasons why women (or men) stay with their spouses after cheating. There are just as many reasons why they leave.

What married people do is their business, no one elses.

Remember the words of the great 18th century English poet,
Alexander Pope:

Does that mean you will forgive your wife if you find out she spent 80K of your money on gigolo services, Gary?
As a matter of fact; any member of DTT who says that they will; please respond. I'd just like to know why.

SO very true PN.

Notice how popular the word pussy is? I would say it there's a usage that fits in the 64 entries.
