Like the claim of the creation of the universe. The book gives a specific time-line which spells out the age of the earth, but that has been proven inaccurate on a grand scale. The "Great Flood". Another issue where people have tried to prove it existed, and yet come away admitting there is NO evidence of it ever occurring. The Bible's claim that the sun was halted over the earth to aid the Jews in a battle. AGAIN attempts to prove this biblical claim, but NO evidence can be found. If you mathematically (using ALL aspects of history) try to trace the population growth of man, you'll realize that the bible's claim of the age of the earth is grossly inaccurate. Nothing divine has ever been proven using the bible. If the bible was a history book it would be located in the history section of your local bookstore. I think it is sad that you have that much faith in your fellow human of over 2000 years to dictate your whole belief system when you don't seem to trust them today in modern times.
