I'm not OK with it, but I'm not a Venezuelan. If a signifigant portion of his country is against it, we could just do what we always do and fund rebels. As it is, he's still selling us oil. Socialism doesn't really matter anymore, in the big picture. One of his major talking points is the embargo on Cuba, and I think if we ended that, we could hasten the fall of Communism there. Nothing kills Communism like capitalism.

I don't think Bush is evil, I just think he's an exceptionally mediocre commander in chief. Bush was democratically elected, and I respect him as our president. As a citizen though, I have the right to disagree with him, and I do so adamantly and often. Politics isn't about good and evil, it's about effectiveness and impact.

I think the Iraq war was an entirely bad idea which has resulted in us hemmorhaging money into the Middle East. However, his move was a political one.

Was FDR evil because he rounded up all of the Japanese people on the west coast and forced them into internment camps?
