It seems to be working. If it makes the area more peaceful, aren't you for that? Aren't you for peace? I read in the article that muslims attack Christians in other places in Iraq and kidnap and kill. That is not happening in the Kurdish area. I suggest you read the article again so you know exactly what you are defending here and can be more clear in your position.

Looks like to me at this point in history it is the muslim world that is pretty much more violent than any other religion.

If you look at the last few hundred years Christianity comes up WAY on top.
