Why exactly would Moore's stock portfolio be public information? It would not be. I have searched for credible sources on this but have come up empty.

One way I could see it being true is through mutual funds that frequently change companies according to the market.

Here is a link. Go to the bookstore and look on the back cover of this guy's book and it has a copy of Michael Moore's tax return and his home address.
