I understand the connection they tried to use. But to compare the ending result of the film to what is going to happen because Bush is in office, is simply obsurb.

Reminds me of the Michael Moore scare tactics.

Why are you mixing up the outcome of the movie with the comments relating to Bush? Obviously Star Wars is fiction.

It is the "People dealing in absolutes" portion of the movie that obviously refers to Bush.

If we are discussing how the film was political and they sort of tied in Bush as the Sith...then I understand that. Just as long as no one takes the outcome as something that is going to happen.

The outcome of the film isn't so important literally. It is important to understand that this stance of absolutes comes from a very bad/evil thought process and that it is a dangerous one at that.
