GREAT vote there...

You just provided another reason why this war could be considered "illegal".
It's like a drug raid where no drugs are found. You don't get to still evict the guy afterwards...

No. Actually I was just curious if somebody responded to you with mindless rhetoric, like the type you are so fond of, would you recognize the flaw...
You do, so I guess the remaining reason you employ it involves hypocrisy...

You really are clueless, aren't you.
He DID NOT ENLIST.
He got a COMMISSION. Officers get commissions.
Do you know anything about the military at all?

Oh wait. Let me guess.
You "know" some military personnel, don't you...
Here is a quote from the above article:

What does "joined the Army" mean to you?

The matter of WMDs is another issue. The fact is the Senate and House gave the president authority to use force. You better stop, you're really looking bad.

Okay. I realize you're slow, so I'll explain it.
AGAIN...

Officers DO NOT enlist.
"Enlisted" personnel *enlist*. Like Privates and Sargeants and Seamen and Petty Officers.
They ENLIST.

Officers do not enlist.
All officers get a COMMISSION. That is the term for their contract signing with the military.
COMMISSION. Not "enlisting".

Got it yet?

"Another" issue?
It was the ONLY issue under which the attack on Iraq was sold to the U.S.

And AFTER it turned out that there were NO WMDs, we removed Hussein anyways...

I'm beginning to think Alzheimer's may be a requirement for voting Republican. It helps them to ignore what Republicans said earlier, and get completely shifted over to a new stance which WAS NOT what the original sell was...

I would have LOVED to see Bush be honest about this whole mess in trying to sell it.

Too bad we don't have "lemon laws" for Presidents and wars...

Everyone thought he had the WMDs. The democrats were convinced because they voted for invasion. The intelligence was flawed, not Bush's decision. The congress and Bush acted on the intelligence. They did not realize that while the UN was talking and talking and talking, Saddam was moving everything to Syria.

Bush's mistake was trying to sell the invasion by selling the WMDs. He and everyone else was convinced they were there. Then when it became apparant they were not, then the same dems who voted for the invasion began to say Bush lied.....just politics of save your own skin. What Bush should have done was explain to the American people that we are going to change the government to one that is friendly to the USA and against terrorism. That is what he should have done. Hindsite is always 20/20. In a war, nothing is predictable. Everything changes every day.

Alias, whether you're smart enough to grasp it or not, what I said was 100% true.
The term for an officer joining the military is COMMISSION. Not "enlist".

But as per your question, I refer you to my earlier posts.
If you can't be troubled to actually remember answers to your issues which I have already given, then I can't be troubled to repeat myself for you...

No. Not "everyone".
There were a long list of people who were EXPLICITLY POINTING OUT that there was NO REAL current intelligence claiming he had WMDs.
The U.N. weapons inspectors for one.
A whole scandal broke out over outing a CIA operative for another.

"save our own skin"? ROFLMAO!
REPUBLICANS were at the helm. NOBODY was trying to roast Democrats because of a lack of WMDs.

Man-o-man-o-man-o-man. It is UNBELIEVABLE how much you externalize things onto people where they don't belong...

Oh. I see.
So "friendly to the USA" is a part of the deal now?
WoW! It amazes me that that just rolled off your tongue, and you couldn't figure out how incredibly wrong your statement was.

A sovreign statement should make up its own mind as to whether or not it is "friendly" or not.
But thanks for the rare moment of honesty.

If he voluntarily joined the Army (which he did) he does NOT have the right to decide the things he will and won't do.

This has nothing to do with the rightness or wrongness of the War in Iraq.

It has to do with this guy fulfilling his contractual obligation. Nothing different than making mortgage payments on a house somebody buys.
