It has nothing to do with "peer pressure".
It has to do with people objectively analyzing the situation, and realizing you're full of sh!t.

I have given multiple examples of how you can support something, but oppose the mission assigned to that thing.
You have ignored them all.

That, in and of itself, says a LOT about your incapability to defend your position.

I don't accept your definitions. They may work for you, but not for me. When I support soldiers, I support them in the job. You are lying to yourself and calling it reasonable. I don't. We have different opinions.

Here is your quote foundit:

foundit: "Suppose you support a secretary in your office.
Suppose the secretary's boss makes him get coffee every morning before work at the local Starbucks.

A person CAN support the secretary, but think it's wrong of the boss to make the secretary get that coffee for him before work".

You fail to say what you do to support the secretary. You fail to say what you DO to support that secretary. Thinking the boss is a jerk is not supporting that secretary. Are you helping him do his job? Are you sending him supplies and things from home while he is away? Are you doing all you can to hinder those who would harm the secretary? You have said nothing that would support your secretary except to think the boss is a jerk. Hell, that aint support. You analogy is plain stupid.

You fail to say what you do to support the secretary.
Irrelevant.
The point is that you CAN support the secretary while NOT supporting a task that the secretary has been assigned.

THAT is the point.

I never claimed it was.
Your comment is irrelevant.

The point is that you claimed that you CANNOT support the troops while opposing the war effort.
Personally, I DO want to help the troops do their job. I have sent letters to my congressmen asking them to ensure that our troops get proper armor.
<Bleep>! CHER is doing more to get our troops the armor they need than our elected officials!

Now, taking that into account, am I or am I not supporting the troop???

Your response is idiotic.
I NEVER SAID that support of the secretary was based on thinking the boss was a jerk.
Once again, you failed to comprehend simple English.

You argue out of your own confusion...

You have yet to say how you would support the secretary. Support is a verb. What action would you take to support your secretary friend? Verb=action.

I skipped the whole "support the analogy" crap and actually showed how I supported the troops.
I could make up anything meaningless for the sake of the analogy. I could say that I help the secretary get to work by carpooling. I could say that I help the secretary by covering the calls while he's on a break.
And all these hypothetical statements would be meaningless to the point of the analogy.

You ignored my question.
Do my ACTUAL actions support the troops? Or not?
