In the meantime, I'll be trying to figure out how that's actually a "fast".

It's not a fast. It's really just a way of getting attention and keeping your name in the news.

For all of you who are dying to know about Cindy's latest on her "fast".....

Cindy Sheehan, peace mom, mother to the world and a woman who calls terrorists freedom fighters, is not only starving for attention, she's starving for protein (insert tasteless joke here.)

Writing in her blog from Venice, Italy, Sheehan bemoans the hardship of trying to maintain the "troops home fast" she started on July 4 in front of the White House while traveling around the world:

I find traveling out of the country very challenging being on a fast. When I was on a layover in Madrid on my way to Venice, Italy yesterday, the closest thing I could find to a smoothie to get a little protein was a coffee with vanilla ice cream in it. Traveling for 22 hours is very taxing under normal circumstances--but then again, when have we had normal circumstances since the 2000 and 2004 successful coup attempts that have brought BushCo into power?

Smoothies, coffee and ice cream. Sounds more like a diet than a fast.

You gotta admit... Venice would be a very nice place for an American citizen to martyr herself for the sake of protesting against the American Military.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go protest Female Genital Circumcision by flying to France and visiting the Eifel Tower.

Good idea. I'm going to protest the gas prices by driving to a Canadian fishing resort in the Northwest territory where I can catch 10-pound Walleyes, mammoth pike and lake trout, and beautiful Grayling.

Driving?
Screw that!
I'm FLYING in on my own personal charter plane.

And when I'm cooking my walley over an open fire, I'm probably going to let sparks fly into the pines and start a HUGE forest fire.

...call me Al Gore.

Then you can use the water from the local aquifer and then protest about too much water being used by the "little people". Be sure to say high to Robert Kennedy Jr as you fly by his private jet.
