There are OTHER GAY PEOPLE who do want to take the oath, but are forbidden.
Remember the Supreme Court case on the issue? I believe a handful of gays and a handful of atheists fought against the Boy Scout's discriminatory policy.

Gays who do want to join the boy scouts DO exist, so your whole rant about it not being "discriminatory" fails EVEN BY YOUR OWN standards.

And again, not getting FREE rent is not a "punishment".
Getting FREE rent would be favoritism FOR the group.
