I dunno dude.. The only thing fox does is sing the praises of the USof A as well as the present conservative admin.

This admin is the same that is responsible for at least 40 thousand civilian deaths in Iraq.

I aint saying FOX shoudl be shut down.. However the point is that in a country that talks so highly of free speech i think its ridiculous that a person get arrested for broadcasting something people can SHUT OFF..

Don't gimme crap about how the terrorists c an use it to spread their message. If the message is crazy it will be rejected.. if it aint, well then maybe it's about time the US dealt with those points instead of terming them irrelevant. I dunno what will happen. But i do know that this action denies peopl;e the right to form their opinion.. But the american admins never really liked it if their citizens had too many opinions of their own.. ESPECIALLY if it's about an ENEMY

Fox News is not a terrorist network. Hezbollah is. If Fox gets a paramilitary wing, then we'd be in business.

Now, if he was arrested for giving people access to al-Jazeera, which is clearly not a terrorist organization, but a media entity, then it would be a freedom of speech issue.

That's still not the same thing as firing rockets at people.

Civilian deaths are regrettable, and the war was a mistake, but that has nothing to do with Fox News. The US military bombed Iraq, not Fox News. I also think that there is a difference between a legitimate military and terrorists.

The content isn't the issue; The terrorist group which is recieving money for the content is the issue.

As I mentioned before, Fox News doesn't have a paramilitary wing.

The content is irrelevant. It's the fact that a terrorist organization is getting money for the content that is the problem.

There's still plenty of terrorist bullshit available on the internet, for free, that doesn't violate laws against giving money to terrorist organizations.

I also don't think that the government wants people to be fat, happy, and stupid. I don't trust the government as far as I can throw it, but I don't think that its actions are particularly malicious either.

Fox is not an arm of a terrorist organization. It may be in your opinion, but your opinion is not fact. The fact is hezbo is a terrorist organization and a declared enemy of the USA. That right there means they are not allowed to use our freedoms to spread their propaganda.

Poor planning, air strikes by coalition forces and a "climate of violence" have led to more than 100,000 extra deaths in Iraq, scientists claim.
A study published by the Lancet says the risk of death by violence for civilians in Iraq is now 58 times higher than before the US-led invasion.

Unofficial estimates of civilian deaths had varied from 10,000 to over 37,000.

The Lancet admits the research is based on a small sample - under 1,000 homes - but says the findings are "convincing".

And Cheney thinks we will be greeted as "liberators".
