While viewer/advertiser-driven news is not ideal, it remains the best option.

I don't see what the problem is. Denmark has two government subsidized channels (apart from satellite and cable) freely available to the population, but no government dare interfere with news reporting and programming.

You keep saying it is impossible to guard against exploitation, but it seems it is NOT.

Yeah so can we lay the myth of "liberal bias" in the media to rest. If FOx is the largest, then it can out-bias any other liberal outlet. yes?
