As usual, you are confused. I quite being tolerant of muslims long ago when they refused to be tolerant of everyone else. If they are so damn stupid they don't know what they are putting in their mouth or force people to accommodate them but refuse to do the same, my tolerance is over. You're more tolerant of them than Christians. Why is that? So you have selective tolerance? Looks like it. You will bash Christians who are far more tolerant than muslims and you will defend the Muslim demand for tolerance. You are a Christian bigot and are no better than anyone or me.

Neither of the above excuses the story's described reactions from the Muslims.
How can you NOT know you're ordering pork?
How can you NOT know it's pork on your plate?

Catered or not...

I have NEVER mistakenly ordered and/or eaten pork - or any other kind of meat, for that matter.

Good grief... not too long ago I ate at an Indian (as in, India) buffet. All the entrees had their names/ingredients CLEARLY marked on the labels. I even tried "Boiled Goat With Curry" - and did it on purpose. (Can't say it's my new favorite...)

With oriental food you basically have: chicken, seafood, beef, pork. Anybody that cannot tell the difference is incredibly stupid.

If I don't want pork, I simply choose not to eat it.

And there you go again with STEREO-TYPING the ENTIRE GROUP.
Geez. Will you just tone that down a LOT?

Gee. You just gave somebody a recipe for how to demonstrate intolerance towards you...

No. I am not.
I just don't see anybody defending the stupidity of Islam, while I DO find people defending the stupidity of Christians.

I don't stereo-type all of Christianity based on the actions of a few Christian zealots, and I also don't stereo-type all of Islam based on the actions of a few Muslim zealots.

Okay. I'll type this slower so maybe you can understand...

1) It is entirely possible HE DID NOT ORDER ANYTHING. For a catered event, it is entirely possible that the food was prepared in advance, and just brought out without any choice.
2) He obviously DID know it was pork on his plate...

I got back from Japan earlier this week.
If you think I had the convenience of every item clearly labelled with ingredients, you're fooling yourself. And asking precisely what was included? I was lucky to get past the "smoking / non-smoking" question.

I agree.
All my comment was about was that he may not have actually ORDERED anything. It may have been just brought out for him.

I'll type this more slowly, so you don't have to continue to be a dumb-ass.

I DON'T CARE whether or not he/she ordered anything.

If I have something given to me, on a plate, and I don't know what it is, I DON'T EAT IT.

If I have something given to me, on a plate, and I DO know what it is, but don't like it, I DON'T EAT IT.

I NEVER create an uproar, or some hyper stink about it, claiming that somebody is insulting my sensibilities.

This is a PERFECT EXAMPLE of why Muslims, the world over, continue to be a stench in the nostrils of intelligent people everywhere!

ROFLMAO!!!
And the "dumb-ass" comment coming from the guy who complains about me being insulting on another board...

You crack me up Jefferson. Your incapability to realize when YOU are the originator of a situation that you want to blame on other people.
But I guess you'll just go back to complaining on how big of a meanie I am if I respond to you with similar insults...

Pathetic!

And for the record, I'm glad to see you finally realized that he may not have ordered anything.

Looks like the guy involved didn't eat it either.
He blew up, inappropriately so, over what he got, but it doesn't look like he ate it.

And we both agree that the uproar and hyper stink was wrong.
Did you miss that?

I see.
This one guy is responsible for the perception of OVER ONE BILLION Muslims world-wide, most of whom don't act like this...

Perhaps I should now dig up a story about Pat Robertson and claim that is why people see Christianity as a "stench in the nostrils of intelligent people everywhere"...

If muslims all over the world were not murdering Christians and Jews and other muslims, I would agree with you.

If muslims all over the civilized world where they have moved to were not demanding special rights, I would agree with you.

You don't believe that millions of muslims have declared war on the civilized world do you? You really don't believe that.

Here are some numbers Just from Indonesia alone. Let's see yours.

October 15, 2006
One in 10 Indonesian Muslims back violent jihad; 20% support jihad group
If the ten percent figure is correct, that's 22,000,000 people who support jihad actions such as the Bali bombings, and nearly forty-five million who support Jemaah Islamiah. And that's just those who are willing to tell a pollster something that they would know the government would not likely be happy to hear. Tiny Minority of Extremists Update from modern, moderate Indonesia: "One in 10 Indonesia Muslims back violent jihad-poll," from Reuters, with thanks to Jeffrey Imm:

JAKARTA, Oct 15 (Reuters) - Around one in 10 Indonesian Muslims support jihad and justify bomb attacks on Indonesia's tourist island of Bali as defending the faith, a survey released on Sunday showed.
Indonesia is the world's fourth most populous country, with 220 million people, 85 percent of whom follow Islam, giving the Asian archipelago the largest Muslim population of any nation in the world.

"Jihad that has been understood partially and practised with violence is justified by around one in 10 Indonesian Muslims," the Indonesian Survey Institute said in a statement.

"They approved the bombings conducted ... in Bali with the excuse of defending Islam," it added, saying the percentage of such support "is very significant".

While the vast majority of Indonesia's Muslims are relatively moderate, there has been an increasingly vocal militant minority and political pressure for more laws that are in line with hardline Muslim teachings

No, but you could do something utilizing common sense - assuming you HAVE any...

Look at the hundreds of "suicide bombings" taking place on a regular basis.
THEY ARE DONE BY MUSLIMS

Look at the fanatics calling for "death" and "be-headings" as a result of some stupid cartoons in a barely-read Scandinavian newspaper.
THEY ARE DONE BY MUSLIMS

Look at the public be-heading of an innocent American contractor, and the corpses of other victims of be-headings.
THEY ARE DONE BY MUSLIMS

Look at the outrageous demands that the entire world cater to their idiotic "forced 7th-century Arabian Culture".
THEY ARE DONE BY MUSLIMS

Look at the rioting in Paris that has the French government on the verge of taking drastic and violent actions against "certain" people.
THEY ARE DONE BY MUSLIMS

Look at the insane behavior of people - like this - all through the world. And for the most part...
THEY ARE DONE BY MUSLIMS

Now... do you want to try - again - to tell me that the Muslims don't have "a problem"? Do you want to leave your head stuck firmly in the sand - or up somebody else's butt, or do you want to admit that this is the epitome of why Muslims are reviled by non-Muslims the world over.
