How much was it to 'Sin City'? I am interested in seeing it also, as long as it isn't too much like a comic book.

My sisters saw it and said she didn't like it...then again she's always into the chick flicks. She said, "I thought it was bad, but you might like it?!" haha

It's a lot like the graphic novel it is based on, but nothing like Sin City. I think you will enjoy it. It's very realistic, though over-the-top.

I've seen it twice by now. I thought it was awesome. If you're the kind that likes war movies, it's definitely a must-see...though, if you're one of those critics that are really anal about historical accuracy or violence then I would definitely not recommend this film.

In my movies, I don't like historical accuracy (finding a creative way to incorporate the theme is more important), and I do like violence, but I didn't really like this movie.

I found this movie to be a giant action sequence broken up by pornography and one-liners, like "This is Sparta!".

Don't get me wrong, the action sequences were done very well, and there were particular parts that were great. But where were the storyline, the theme, and the non-cookie-cutter characters?

If action sequences are all that matter, then maybe this movie won't disappoint. But I'm telling you, if I hear the line, "Immortals. We'll put their name to the test," one more time...
