Magnum at times was zany, especially the way Higgins (John Hillerman) was acting.

Hawaii 5-0 will always be my favorite, followed by Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

Of the current cop shows, only Law & Order: Criminal Intent is the one I watch. Some weeks, they show new episodes. Other times they show repeats. It used to be that each network, like when CBS ran Hawaii 5-0, would show new eps every week, until the last episode of the season. Then the reruns take over.

There were 278 episodes of Hawaii 5-0, which ran for 13 years.

McGarrett (Jack Lord) was wonderful.

In 5-0, what I always found humorous was in the credits at the end:

Chin Ho played by Kam Fong

Kam Fong was a Honolulu police officer for 18 years, until he joined the cast of Hawaii 5-0.

Which one: Get Smart or Hawaii 5-0?

There already is a Get Smart movie, which starred Don Adams, titled "The Nude Bomb". Don Adams really made that series, along with Barbara Feldman (Agent 99).

For many years there was talk of a Hawaii 5-0 movie, but nothing serious. There was talk earlier about George Clooney playing the role of "Steve McGarrett". Heck, nobody can play Steve McGarrett. Jack Lord will always be forever enshrined with that honor.

I believe I heard that, too. I wonder who is going to play the role of Maxwell Smart? Nobody could really act the way Don Adams did. He was Smart.

Even though I have not seen "The Nude Bomb", but isn't there a scene where, as in the TV series, Smart went inside the building, walked down the hall with the doors closing behind him, getting inside the phone booth, dialing "102", and the dissappearing down the shaft? That was my favorite, as well as when Smart emerged from the phone booth, and had his nose smashed when the last door closed.
