I think the entire point of the movie was stereotype -busting.
Right now America spends $700 billion every year on foreign oil. That's our money going overseas when it could be staying here. We have to stop this.

That's my point - why was there no "large outpouring" by white people?

Why did nobody take "White Men Can't Jump " as a racial slur which will scar them for life??

Truth is most white men I know would readily agree with that statement! Isn't it better if we learn to take a joke and make a joke about our stereotypical differences, instead of constantly looking for reasons to lambast other people?

Black are in the place they are in because of blacks. All Imus said is what millions of Americans say. Nappy headed, if that's a racial slur then so is skinny legs or broad noses. What a joke this became. Why is the emphasis on race when he called them hos? Seems to me it is more a sex slur that a racial one. But then all men still degrade women so who really gives a damn about them anyway? Right? A couple weeks off should have been the punishment and no more. Stay the course Imus, millions of supporters can't be wrong.

I noticed some of the Rutgers players were white girls.

So I guess that proves that:

1. It wasn't a racial slur
2. White Women CAN Jump !
