Charges Droped Against Duke
Heard today that all charges will be droped by the DA against the 3 Duke Lacrosse players charged with kidnapping, rape, and sexual assult(sp)(at work, little tired, cant spell). Alot of people are blaming the prosecutor for rushing into this case too fast and thus causing the whole thing to collaspe on itself. People also suggest he be disbarred for his actions.
I agree with that he should. Anyone else got their 2-cents to add?

I wonder how this would have worked out if it was a black sports team from low-income backgrounds and a white middle class stripper?

If she had the same credibilties as the black stripper I honestly wouldnt think any different. The stripper couldnt remember who what where when or how things happened, she was found to have sexual relations that very same day and other things that I cant remember from the previous reports on her. Anywho...If it was a low-income black sports team with a white stripper, and all this stuff spilled out from it I would change my opinion dispite background or ethnicity. If the DA screwed up that much and there wasnt any evidence to begin with they would still come off innocent despite the scenerio above

I think Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson had a part in the DA's pushing for the case. They probably had him scared out of his wits that charges of racism would be filed against him if he didn't file charges.

I also think so too. And now with the Don Imus conflict going on, Jackson and/or Sharpton are getting flak shot at them for calling him a racist. If im not correct but if any black radio personality said what Imus said...do you really think the same thing would be going on right now? I was listening to Jay Severan on 96.9 talk and he had a black caller saying that Jackson and Sharpton are ruining "their people's" image by calling whites crackers and other remarks towards us and how they may think they are doing good they are making things worse.
