Defending the Truth

I wonder if you can realize that the reaction you see to your statements / behavior on this message board are analogous to the WORLD's reaction to your recommended course of action.

If we "killed all our enemies" in the non-discriminating way you advocate, we would essentially have to kill EVERYBODY as what you describe would make more enemies.
The government's own intelligence report demonstrated that our CURRENT actions in Iraq are stirring a hornet's nest of previously sleeping hornets. We are CREATING NEW enemies and INCREASING the amount of terrorist element in the region. Not decreasing it.

I would be curious as to a similar intelligence report regarding our actions involving Afghanistan. If I recall correctly, we even had a good amount of support from the Middle East BECAUSE they saw our response as justified.

The phrase "pyrric victory" comes to mind.

If we applied your mentality to "banning" your "enemies" on this message board, I think you would be quickly talking to yourself...

But you have to look on the bright side, I might be talking to myself, but than again i would have the whole country/world/ site to myself.

As an American, I get pissed off too. You may find that we have some common things that piss us off. Do not be so quick to paint me as a liberal on everything because you do not know me.

My whole point is we don't as Americans don't stick togeter in the defend of this country,some people are treating this war and our troops like nam all over again.
Case in point,,, everytime one of our guys come up missing or we find them chopped up, the lowlife liberals will make statements like "well we should be over there" or "they are over there killing woman and childern" this is all bullshit..

I bet the reason you came here is for a better life, well that is why we our over there, to help people get a better life, sure some of them don't want us over there, but many more do, and if you listen to the reports coming out of the mideast, they (the arabs) are killing childern and i am talking about the goverment, hanging them for just flirting around. I don't like the way they are treading the woman over there, and I don't like the FACT the you liberals play it off so y'all can down our troops.

For Afghanistan, I believe the US had domestic and world support for the removal of the taliban government. It was clear that they were harbouring the terrorists who planned the 9/11 attacks. That support quickly abated when we then went to Iraq based on lies from the US president. Give the US people a true cause and you will see the support of the entire nation.

The US is fighting an asymmetric war now in Iraq. The enemy is fighting the US to take advantage of their strengths and our weakness. It is ugly, but that is war. There is no reason for the US to be in Iraq now. They fight because the US is there occupying their land. Bring the troops home and their cause is gone.

Maybe the arab states are not so good to THEIR citizens, but what makes the US responsible for that? It is not the US's duty to impose its morality on other sovereign states via military force. For every innocent the US kills the number of our enemies grows.

My reasons for coming to the US are personal, If the people in the arab lands want a better life, they can work for that themselves.

You don't like the way Arabs treat women and children, so your solution is to nuke Baghdad. This would be one of these special nukes that only kills adult men, and leaves the women and children intact, right?

I bet you have the same ideas about America jumping on Japan??? in ww2.
