When you are a terrorist capable of the advanced flying required to do what the 9/11 terrorists supposedly did... isn't turning off the means for passengers to communicate at the top of the list after taking control of the plane? Are we to believe that they were somehow naive terrorists on one hand yet at the same time be capable of achieving what they did?

This doesn't speak at all to the fact that a single airplane should not have been sufficient to bring down both towers in demolition neatness.

30 minutes between plane hits and where were our fighter planes? And then a third steel structure comes down because of fire??

Please, I wasn't born yesterday.

Fahrenheit 9/11 | Now available on DVD!!

I don't know how much the movie will cover the subject. But if not, then he ought to be contacted about making a movie on this subject.

You have to remember, it isn't the flying that is tough, it's the take off and especially the landings. They weren't concerned about landing, and all of the pilots were certified, meaning that they had at least 250 hours sitting in the other seat.

And you want to tell me how 4 nervous guys are going to think to turn off everybody's cell phones?

I know you weren't born yesterday, but do some research and don't believe those sites just because they tell you what you want to hear.

The fighter planes were on their way to intercept the passenger airliners. It was too late, though. The nearest base, probably somewhere around New England, got the message, scrambled, and got the fighter jets up. As I said, they could not get there in time.

Had they got there in time, certainly they would have had to shoot the airliners down west of NYC, if not inside NYC.

Not to mention, after the first hit, almost everybody thought it was an accident, small plane, etc. It wasn't until the second hit that we knew it was on purpose.

One thing I would like to know is, where's the proof of demolition?

Who set the charges? Where's fragments from the bombs? There's always fragments, just look at what they found at Oklahoma City. Where's the residue?

Yeah, when I saw the news on CNN getting ready for work, I had the same feeling it was an accident. Only did I learn as I was driving to work that the second tower got hit on purpose.

A small plane could not have inflicted that much damage. Remember, a small plane hit one of the tall buildings in Tampa/St. Petersburg. It actually sort of bounced off the building. It was too slow to do catastophic damaged to a building like that. I doubt we would have seen the kind of damage on the WTC if a small Cessna would have tried to copy what the terrorists did.

I don't know the conspiracists keep bringing this subject up, but there are enough grieving relatives who wish this would all be put to bed.

I woke up and was watching live coverage about 10 minutes before the second plane hit. That day still gives me chills. As a Marine I wanted to shoot somebody after that second plane hit. And by the end of the day, I was inconsolable.

I agree though, until the second plane hit, I was like...What dumass ran into the WTC? I didn't have a reference of the scale until the second plane hit. THEN I was pissed.

Clearly you did not see the video of one of the towers main structure actually landing on the top of tower 7. You are probably thinking that the debris is just paper and such...it's actually thousands of pounds of material.

Whenever you alter the structure/support of a building, it's bound to collapse. Heat only makes it worse.
