| Hmm, that article explains that a group of people are trying to counter Fred Phelps and other protestors of gay funerals. To tell the truth, I don't find this disgusting, and I'm glad that people are willing to take a stand against people protesting gay funerals. The guy is a little nuts, and totally grotesque in communicating what he's apparently trying to communicate. He does have the right to the freedom of speech. However, if one of my two sons was a soldier (though neither are in the military, they are both that age) who was killed in action, and Phelps came and "did his thing" at my son's funeral, I think I would have a VERY hard time not going over and kicking the living crap out of him. And I think I'd probably view the possible consequences as "well worth it." | ||||||||||||||||||||||
