I disagree. A black person didn't decide to be black. A gay person didn't decide to be gay. Both racial minorities and homosexuals/bisexuals have gone through discrimination. Seems like the same situation to me. I just find it a bit absurd to ever think there needs to be a "Homosexual Male Shower Room", "Heterosexual Male Shower Room", "Bisexual Female Shower Room", "Homosexual Female Shower Room", and so on. To me, that's invasion of privacy. My sexuality isn't anyone's business unless I make it their business. The thought of having your sexuality labeled by what shower you go into is just a bit crazy to me.

You're right, I don't mind guys ogling me in the shower. Call me a hippie but I find nothing wrong with being naked or embracing your natural form. I understand not everyone is like that nor do I know enough about community showers and how often they are very open and have no privacy. To me, what I am picturing is like a community shower in the dorms on campus. A big room filled with shower stalls that men and women can use. I could be wrong but in that case, there isn't really a lot of naked ogling. If college kids can handle it, why can't soldiers?

It seems that you think that any gay man that is looking at you is ogling you, finding you attractive. I don't have a clue what you look like and hey! maybe you are some hot guy that a bunch of gay guys have ogled but just as you're not lusting after every girl you see, they aren't lusting after every guy they see.

I don't lust after every woman I see. But then again, I do like to see women naked. Almost any woman that's not too fat, a little fat is okay. Attraction doesn't make me want to see a woman naked, the fact that she is a woman does. Again, just as most women wouldn't want men in their shower, for whatever reason you don't seem to understand, most heterosexual men would rather not shower with a known gay guy. Especially a gay guy who they don't know.

You're right, a pedo didn't decide to be a pedo. But they decided to act on it, knowing good and well that it is wrong. Being a pedo harms other people. Being gay, doesn't. Being a midget and a siamese twin can cause health problems. Being gay...can't. There is a huge difference between beastility, pedophilia, and homosexuality. The first two are harmful and with people/animals that are generally not consenting. The second is not harmful with people that are consenting (unless it's rape which happens in heterosexuality as well). I don't believe that it is everyone's purpose in life to reproduce nor do I feel like everyone needs to reproduce. So, that's my touch on the "only natural way or life" kind of debate. I believe that God made each person a different way for different reasons. He didn't put us all here to make us all do the same thing in life. (Sorry to bring religion into this, if you're not religious, just ignore this)

I do know I am "off the beaten path" with my lifestyle. I never understood why people find the natural state of a human being to be disgusting or inapproripriate. But I do know that I am in the minority about being comfortable with my (not even close to perfect) naked body. Just because I am in the minority doesn't make my opinion wrong or inferior. Just because I see no problem in showering and being naked around other people doesn't mean I don't understand why people do have a problem with it. I'm not naive to that, I understand.
