Never in the history of the world has any soldier sacrificed more for the freedom and liberty of total strangers than the American soldier.

What more can a human sacrifice than his or her life? That has always been understood as the ultimate sacrifice.

People have made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of freedom and liberty (that it applies to 'total strangers' is assumed) under many different banners and flags.

Sorry for the snide comment, although, I'm not sure how it can get much more snide than "If History was a strong suit of liberals, they would be conservatives."

In fact, as you may or may not have noticed, I contested that statement in post #53. Now, I know #53 is a whopping 52 posts away from #1, but bear with me for a minute.

Well, before I posted #53, I suppose I made a snide comment. But you did the right thing and asked me to contest with something else other than a snide comment.

So I made the point that death is the ultimate sacrifice. Americans are not the only people that have fought and died in the name of liberty and freedom, furthermore, they are not the only people who have had countless soldiers make the ultimate sacrifice even when the freedom and liberty they fight for is not just for them but total strangers as well.

For some strange reason, you decided that this statement proved yours was true. I wasn't trying knock you on wording; I was just pointing out that I was contesting the original statement, the first sentence of post #1 in this thread.

After all this, you go ahead and repost the first sentence from post #1, the statement I contested in post #53 (and again in this post because I have had to repeat myself in an effort to make this clear to you). I'm not sure why you would post it again, as if it was a different statement, and ask me to prove it wrong. It bewilders me. Did you want me to copy and paste post #53 again? I'm not sure.

However, my rage build when I see these jackasses burning a flag. They may have every right to burn the flag, but I would be lying if I were to say I would sit back and let it happen.

You still haven't told me which country has sacrificed MORE than the American soldier for strangers. Every country has lost soldiers in war. The point was America has given more than anyone. Who? Which country?

Either way, the original statement talks about no other soldier than American soldiers have sacrificed more for the freedom and liberty of total strangers.

Do you agree that other soldiers in history have fought for the freedom and liberty of total strangers?

Do you agree that the ultimate sacrifice, the sacrifice were talking about, is giving your life and dying in the name of that cause?

If you answered yes to both, then surely you can see that many others have died giving the same sacrifice as American soldiers. It's not like American soldiers die harder or die to a further extent than normal human beings.
