It doesn't matter! We have no right in invading another country and spreading our system. Who cares how there country runs, its not ours. Why can't we concentrate on bettering ourselves.

Regardless of whether it was right or wrong to invade Iraq, I feel that with the invasion and current occupation it has allowed us to gauge where our military is currently at. This allows us to make the much needed upgrades that our military has been lacking for years after the Clinton administration slashed military budgets. This will allow us to fix our weaknesses before a new larger threat develops that we may have not been able to handle with our current military.

First of all your wrong... Saddam Hussein paid off numerous families as payment for suicide bombings. There was nothing to prevent him to organize an attack similar to that of Osama Bin Laden in the United States. As it was said in the republican national convention... In the hands of a terrorist a razor blade can become a weapon of mass destruction.

I'm sorry but where are you getting your facts, or lack thereof? Iraq was not a threat to us in any way. There is absolutely no evidence that has withstood criticism from both sides, liberal or conservative, that would justify that comment. I disagree with the methods of the Iraq war but for the most part I agree with the results, in the hands of better leaders I think this war would have gone better and would have been more efficient. The entrance into this war however was a terrific affront to our servicemen and women and either the deciet or incompentance from this administration has yet to be paid for, meanwhile the casuality rate continues to climb and the administration has a September 12th mindset when it comes to the veterans.
