| I did not say they were as bad. I don't think anyone would say that the Republicans are nearly as bad as Hezbollah... (maybe Hev), what I am saying is that Hezbollah represents a sigular entity inside a sovereign nation. And like the Republican they were elected to power. I think they could be just as readily defeated through the use of an Information Campaign and Psychological Operations as they can through a hot war. But a hot war is faster and easier. Ultimately, it only results in death. Please understand, I do think Hezbollah and Hamas must be stopped, but I don't believe the ends justify the means. | It looks like you said the republican party is just as oppressive as hezbollah. In what way? | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Ok, allow me to clarify... I tend to think mathematically, which does not always translate well to normal conversation (I apologize). I am thinking equivalents here. Arab countries are already known to be oppressive and ultra conservative (they make Republicans look like hippies), so in context of an Arab country, Hezbollah tends to be even more conservative than the norm, which includes areas such as personal freedoms and rights. Here in the U.S. it is most often the Republican party that openly promotes policies that are conservative in such areas (not nearly as much as Hezbollah, but an equivalent amount since we are not nearly as conservative overall). And again, please don't get me wrong, I don't think the Democrats are any better. They restrict rights just as much as Republicans, if not more so, they just are not up front about it (which in many ways makes the Republicans a bit more honorable). What I am saying is that Hezbollah is the Lebanese Conservative party. Don't get me wrong though, there are Democrats which like to restrict certain freedoms. But overall I can't think of anything really other than perhaps big restrictions on the second amendment. But please do correct me. I know liberal parties in different countries like to ban certain speech such as racial, anti-semetic, or other "hate speech", but I haven't really seen an American Democrat support those kind of restrictions. | I still don't understand what is oppressive about the republican party. There are more minorities every year voting republican. If it is oppressive, then why are more minorities voting for the republican party? | |||||||||||||||||||||

| When is it not significant? Every vote counts doesn't it? That's what you liberals keep telling us. You sound just like another liberal elitist who can't see the writing on the wall. You are losing ground where you once held it, and you are losing every election more and more. Why? | |||||||||||||||||||||
