He thinks that his opinion is proof, and therefore he believes his talking points are substance for his flaming. *sigh*

Breisheit (Genesis) Six is all about Noah and the flood.

Genesis Chapter 6

1 When men began to increase on the earth and daughters were born to them,

The Divine beings saw how beautiful the daughters of men were and took wives from among those that pleased them.

4 It was then and later too that Nephilim appeared on the earth,

When the divine beings cohabited with the daughters of men, who bore them offspring.

They were the heroes of old, the men of renown.

I don't know what Jewish Publication Society you're talking about, buy try again.

Well... This is coincidental. The sixth reading of Genesis is actually Toldot... That was what I read for my Bat Mitzvah.

This is a good site. Actually, if anyone is interested to listening to someone read the Torah in Hebrew, not only does this site provide Hebrew and English, but it has recordings of people reading the portions and transliteration. It even has vowels and trope, which are training wheels for how to read the text. In the Torah, there are no vowels or trope, and the whole thing is written in this beautiful caligraphy called the Words of Flame... But that's neither here nor there.

Unlike the Christian Bible, it's not really divided into chapters, but I think that "Chapter Six" is Noach, the story of Noah. At any rate, either way, there's no angels having sex with humans or whatever.

Honey, all you've done is quoted made up bullshit, whereas I've actually READ IT, in the original Hebrew, no less. I've studied Torah since preschool, in addition to the supporting texts of the Talmud, Mishnah, several collections of Midrash, and some Kabbalistic texts. I've lived the text. I went to Jewish parochial school and lived in Jewish culture, whereas you are just some sad Nazi sitting in front of his computer, copying and pasting from websites that don't know jack shit about Judaism.

The Torah is a beautiful, important text that deserves to be venerated. I find your disrespect extremely insulting. The Torah has endured for thousands of years, unchanged, and carries the traditions of millions of people. You don't know anything about it.

I have read it.

Not very impressive.

Page after page of Israelites being told to exterminate people and steal their land (Exodus - Joshua) is not something I "venerate"......

Nor is it in the least worthy of respect by civlized human beings.

It's repulsive.

(And Satanic)
