If its his opinion that liberals are destroying the social fabric of this country; that's okay, then he has to back that statement up. But he doesn't even do that. Liberals are destroying the social fabric of this country and I have backed it up every day. You just don't like it. The homosexual agenda attacks the family unit which weakens our country. Liberals are more for rights of terrorists and criminals than defeating them and winning the war. Liberals want to redistribute wealth and bring in a socialist government. Those ideas will weaken America. If you don't like what I say, then tough shit. This is America and everyone including you and me have free speech. Get used to it or go to some other forum. Osama Bin Laden isn't any more Muslim than McVeigh was Christian. I bet you don't even know what Jihad really is about. Jihad is any type of religious struggle...that could mean anything from studying your religion, to recruitment, to waging war. I never said you can't voice your opinion. I want you to voice your opinion. Its just that you don't know the difference between insult and valid political opinion. Calling me names and insulting me personally isn't a political opinion, and you don't have a right to it.

Bullshit. Your moral equivolence doesn't make sense. McVeigh never killed anyone in the name of Jesus. He never mentioned killing anyone in the name of Jesus. You show me where and I'll show you thousands of news reports of muslims murdering civilians all over the planet in the name of Allah.

Apparently you didn't do your homework before you mouthed off to me and Islam. "Holy war" was coined by the Christian crusaders. Now that's a round-house kick to the face isn't it?

Armed conflict of Jihad is only a slice of the pie of the entire broad definition. A Jihadist could simply mean someone in an inward spiritual struggle to form a more perfect faith or lifestyle. Jihad soley meaning "holy war" is a common misconception in the western culture. In fact the word itself means "to exert utmost effort, to strive, struggle" in Arabic.

And you say that "many" Muslims take Jihad to soley mean a radical holy war, yet you have nothing to back that up. Its quite clear that the radical groups you see on television only make up a small minority of the entire Muslim community. Unfortunately the extremists have the power and wealth, as do Christian radicals in the United States.

But I'm not denying that holy war is a part of Islam. It surely is. But terrorism is not. In fact, terrorism is diametrically opposed to the true teachings of Islam. Muslims believe in protecting the innocent, women, and children, during war.
