Great forum.
I watched this short film the other day which takes a tongue-in-cheek
look at how travellers from space might view our current world
predicament and our tangle with the middle east. I have to say I got
more out of this video than many of the news reports these days.
See what you think.
Here's the video link on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBKQtpsR5FA

| Hi Hev.
Thanks for checking out the video.
My feeling is, that any photo or film which shows earth from space is always
helpful for gaining 'perspective'. i.e. It made me take a wider view of what our current 'leaders' are doing, and the consequences.
Greets.

You would be correct Nigel if it was more of a true analysis of Earth from truly some type of passive viewers, in this case aliens.
But the video was a collection of different audio thrown together, sometimes slicing up people's sentences to form new ones. Its therefore apparent that the video didn't convey this passive objection. But rather a partial critique. Any conservative could just as easily show pictures of the Enterprise approaching Earth and find that Kerry is an illogical flip-flopper.

| Hiya Kat.
Yes, I take your point. However, as I said in my first post, the video is a tounge-in-cheek view of the current situation, and therefore not be taken too seriously. But even so, I found it closer to the mark than many mainstream news reports.
Thanks again for checking it out.
