The WORLD is intensely beginning to hate VIOLENCE and TERRORISM... again it happens to be a different thing from MUSLIMS.. maybe not in your mind.. but in reality for sure. YES muslims are perpetrating violence in the name of islam... america is bombing civilians in the name of "freedom"... does that make "islam" or "freedom" wrong?? no it doesn't.. the WRONG done here is that of violence. This violence is not related to ISLAM.. again there is a difference between the tenets of belief and their implementation. The fact that muslims committ terrorist activities is not caused by ISLAM... but by the circumstances surrounding that particular society.. Lik ei said Malaysia Indonesia and Turkey are well functioning moderate tolerant states with no terrorist history or culture.. but they are MUSLIM. Does that not lead one to believe that ISLAM is NOT the common thread between terrorist groups. Does nobody know of the LTTE, or of the IRA or the Basque liberation Front???? Terrorism is a social product of the circumstances of the individual society.. not the result of a religion such as Islam. Love for all, Hatred for none

| Unfortunately this administration is attempting to change the definition of the word terrorism for its own gain. In the true sense of its definition, almost every state including our own have engaged in it or sponsered it sometime in their histories. Yes, including the United States; from western expansion to racism to even the Second World War we have engaged in it. So as you can see, a "war on terrorism" is relative. It really has no substance as a "war" in its definition. I think calling it a war is just an excuse for the executive and federal government to consolidate power. But, even in the light of the new definition, I find it interesting that the United States can still fall into the category of perpetuating it, sometimes carrying it out, and harboring known terrorists. I mostly speak of terrorists against certain South/Central American nations. | |||||||||||||||||||||

Some people make their goals the stars, They may live and die never reaching them, but in the darkness of the night, those stars will guide them to their destination, because they put them in their sights. Last edited by Ludin; 09-30-2006 at 03:40 PM.

Iraqi Civilians Killed - 720,461 9/11 Death Toll - 2,752 So if these guys are the cowards, then why do your troops kill so many civilians? And ofcourse the prision torture. Let me guess, the bombs didnt drop where they were supposed to. I mean come on, throwing over 10 million bombs, some of them would go off target. Anyone know what a dazycutter does?
