That's what I've heard, and I've seen that Mohammed said the killing or harming of innocents, live stock, and trees is forbidden in any militaristic Jihad.

But what I have a problem with is that you can't deny that Jihad is a part of Islam. I'm not claiming that any other religion (with perhaps the exception of Buddhism and Jainism as they are based around nonviolence) doesn't use violence or haven't killed on behalf of their religion. But what I have a problem with believing is when people say Islam is a religion of peace. Because, even though I have not read the Koran and perhaps I should before I critique, I have seen quotes or at least alleged quotes from the Koran that detailed war, and violence against non-believers.

alias posted pictures of frew shia muslim guys beating themselves to death.. iran is the only shia state in the world and iraq is half shia and half sunni.. and there is very lil percentage of shia living in other muslim countries.. so basically 1 out of 40 or something country is shia.. and not all SHIAs beat the crap out of themselves.. there is only a tiny portion.. because if it was all than iran wouldn't have been on the map because they would have already killed themselves.. and nowhere in quran says that you should beat yourself like that.. its just what those people believe in.. they think by beating themselves they will be forgiven..

non of these terrorists are actually following the Quran or are doing anything for islam.. Usama's main purpose is to kick out americans from Saudi.. hezbullah's main purpose is to kick out jews from palestine and lebanon.. there are few other so called terrorist groups in pakistan and their main goal is to lebrate KASHMIR from india.. there are people killing innocent russians so they can get chechnyan independance..

as you see they are all NATIONALIST.. they are fighting for their country not religion..

THOSE WHO ACTUALLY FOLLOW ISLAM WILL NEVER HARM ANOTHER HUMAN BEING because ISLAM is an arabic term which means PEACE..
I see where you are coming from in regard to the picture of the men beating their heads with swords. Because there are Christians who do the same. Perhaps not the same exact techniques of self-inflicted torture, but they do it, and sometimes Christians are even more brutal about it because they attempt to undergo suffering as Jesus has. Anywhere from people wearing things that dig into your skin 24/7, to people crucifying themselves. But I have the decency to acknowlege that not all Christians are like that, unlike Alias when it comes to Islam. To me, I see that picture as a problem with religion as a whole, and ignorance, and not Islam soley.

But again, in regards to your comments of Islam being a religion of peace, I would like to point out my comments above again, and I would like a reply from you to clarify.

see thats the problem.. do you know what actually the word JIHAD stands for ??

JIHAD is an arabic term which means STRUGGLE..

when i was going to my english classes and learning all those shakspear, poetry and literature was a JIHAD for me..

jihad doesn't mean going out on the street and killing people.

Yes I know, and that's what I've been telling them. But there is a militaristic aspect of Jihad, and I've heard that it is in the Koran.

in koran there are somethings which are forbidden and some are allowed.. it says you can fight to defend your religion.. it has mentioned that because if it wasn't there than muslim would have killed for no reason.. and if it had said don't fight at all than you will be like what the hell is this?? how can you not fight when bush or stalin is killing you..

so he said you can fight but there should be a limit (when you can fight, how you can fight, who you can fight)..

you cannot just say that you can't fight..

lets give an example..
you can drive if you have drunk alcohol.. but there is a limit.. you can drive if your alcohol level is under .08 ..... but they are not saying that its good to drive while you have drunk alcohol.. and neither are they promoting alcohol... they cannot just ban alcohol or driving while you have drunk alcohol.. because no matter what people are going to drink and drive too..

"its better not to drive while you have drunk alcohol but still if you have to drive than make sure your alcohol level is under .08"

same goes with islam

"its better not to fight but if you still have to fight than there should be a limit (fight to save your life, religion, home, family)"

hope you see what i'm getting at.. Allah(God) knows that fighting is a part of human nature.. humans cannot stop fighting but atleast tell them about their limits.. they cannot just go and fight any one, anywhere for any reason..

so the other option was not to mention anything about fight.. than you know what the result would have been if there was no limits..

Oh yeah, that comment was really intelligent.

Tell me Alias, what basis do you have to say something like that?

Ignorance or stupidity? Or both?

I thought it was right on. Watching you 2 agree on some nutty Christians and totally ignore what is happening by a group of muslims killing thousands around the world is really funny. I'm being sincere. You look like a couple idiots. One is an educated dummy and the other is a brainwashed religious murdering sympathizer who have a common enemy, CHRISTIANS. A match made in paradise.

How many times must you show your inability of reading comprehension? I noted many times radical Islam, WHILE acknowleging there is such a thing as radical Christianity. You only acknowlege one out of your bigotry.

You are comparing a mole hill to Mount Everest. You call that comprehension? I call it desperation.
