Thinking this only makes you look foolish and ignorant. It's simply not true. I will say that the misuse of police is a threat. And I will say that this administration is a far greater threat to the world as a whole than Al-Qaeda. But in general police tend to be good men and women with good intentions. They truly are there to serve and protect.

Oh no... I assure you it's deniable. And I do deny it. Because it's not a fact it's an opinion.
Indeed it is a matter of opinion. Excuse me if I'm too zealous. I haven't run into many 'good' cops.

I am gonna go out on a limb and guess you live in the suburvs. I think one problem is the mis-distribution of police. There are too many police in the suburbs, and they tend to become pricks, and too few in the cities.

We continue to alienate other countries.

We send our soldiers off to fight and die in frivalous unneccesary wars (Iraq) but let real threats slip away to fight again another day (Osama).

We are unravling the very base of American Justice and infringing on the freedoms and rights of the American people on a daily basis, we are slowly turning our own country into a police state, while imposing our will upon others.

We are falsely imprisoning a ridiculous number of people. It's horrifying. I am not and have never been affraid of a terror attack, but I am terribly affraid of this government. And I am a part of it...

Actually, I live out in the middle of nowhere... But, between me and Tucson, there's Oro Valley -- a quiet little suburb (aren't they all?) who's police force itches for some crime-fightin'. The TPD are easier to avoid, but they tend to be worse than the OVPD if you do get snagged; I agree with your statement about too many cops in suburbs and too few in cities, though.

Yeah I have told many a cop harrassing me in the suburbs that their problem is they simply don't have enough crime.

Indeed it is! They tend to bust kids out past curfew more than the real criminals...
