If they didn't want democracy, they would have never went to the polls. If that did happen, that would have been the biggest slap in the face for this administration.

It was a good turnout and you could see the smiles on their faces when the media covered the elections.

Ok I understand that, but do you honestly think that soley nullifies any notion that Iraq is not a living nightmare right now?

I think they are improving but they are definitely still a living nightmare..no question about that.

I used the word improving in the same sentence so it would make the words, "living nightmare" seem less than the living nightmare before the war.

I don't know if I explained that well but you probably get my drift. But I guess you can mark me as a flip flopper on that one. Should have used different words
