And / or on President Bush's popularity? You know what else I like about President Ford? He was up in years, very seriously, and sharp as a tack! Let's see how many of us can still be intelligently debating here at the DTT forums when we are in our 90's!!! OD

OD | I don't think the revelation of Ford's opinion on the war is going to change anything about Bush's approach in any way. I don't believe Bush is that easily swayed - nor should he be.
And yes, Ford was a sharp man. Great guy! |

A quiet, unassuming man who stayed true to his own convictions. A man capable of demonstrating respect and therefore earning it. I hope God let's him see all the awesome tributes to him now, and even these, our little posts, that witness his place in the hearts of the people that are members here. OD

I just found out that Gerald Ford was a member of an Episcopal Church.
Too bad, because I'm sure that means he's roasting in hell right now. |

This means that Episcopols are no longer "real" Christians.
I'm sure the Episcopalians will get over it - my church (United Church of Christ) has been "not a real Christian church" since we hired the attorneys who defended the slaves of the Ahmistad ... and we're over it. |
