Sectarian Tensions
It's kind of official: Iraq is out of control. The reason is simple. VERY simple. Not many Al Qaeda, not many Baathists. The bulk are sectarian tensions. What I want to know is how to stop the infighting, or if it's inevitable that the Sunnis and Shi'as fight.

Okay, you're reasoning is flawed and you're an asshole, but I suppose the ends justify the means, so does that mean that you see that no solution is possible and that we should pull out?

Actually, he's right.

Both Sunnis and Shi'ites are Muslims. They're killing each other. This is no different than everywhere Muslims have been in the majority since AD 700. How else are you going to spin it?


So let's pull out and let them continue to kill themselves.

I am changing my mind about the entire war in Iraq. One day I want it to work, the next day I think to hell with em. Bush tried and it's not his fault. They're too dumb and backwards for democracy. Bomb the entire region and start over.
