One of the "incidents" is, for instance, an episode in Oklahoma where the police responded to "something that looked questionable". |

Level up: 45%, 162 Points needed | | I'ld say that it's more than misleading. First of all it only displays the fact that Alerts have been issued. None of the situation are actually explained. LIke what the hell was it about the "suspicious package"
Also there is no reason to believe that every one of these incidents is AQ or terrorism related. Some people may be trying to enter illegally. Other places it may have been individual circumstances ( like the guy threatning to blow up hospital helicopter )
This is just fear mongering. Not that there should be reduced security, but i find it irresponsible that certain events are linked to terrorism when no link actually exists. It creates unnecassary fear ( unnecessary to the population.. necessary to certain governments to maintain power and justify certain actions)

I was rather surprised when I looked at the global map.
I don't know that it's fearmongering, but it's a weird map - to say the least. |

I am curious Jefferson, what is odd about the map? |
