What did you do? Where are you these days? Are you An A1C?

I made the mistake of talking back to a TDY. I still have a bad mouth. They gave me a letter of counceling and now I get to be treated like shit tommorrow... They're going to make me come out in my blues, then go back up and dress and get in my BDU's, put all my gear in my ruck sack, stand at attention with it for an hour, then run 5 miles, and do pushups till I cant do any more. Then I just have to clean the squadron till my time is up. They don't fuck around here. I'm at lackland AFB, like I said, I got my ass stuck in Security Forces. This job is stupid as hell. I'm going bllue to green as soon as possible, I don't want to be a gate guard. Plus, they're sending my ass to Montana. Yup, I'm an A1C. I'm lucky enough to have a little bit of college behind me. So how you been?

Dude don't go blue to green... If you are going anywhere, go Navy or Marines. You'll hate the Army more than the Air Force, I promise you that!

A TDY is prior service cross training into a new field. The guy is a shit-head, I told him this job is gay and he's been on my back ever since.

Blue to Green is my only option, otherwise I have to wait 'til my 4 year contract is up to go Navy or Marines. Blue to Green I can transfer in a year, then maybe I can go Ranger or something. You don't understand, I can't do this 14 hours a day shit, either standing guard at a base or patroling. We're here with the Navy Master of Arms, their tech school is half of ours. I guess AF and Navy don't get along to well. They're always getting in arguments here.

Why would I hate the Army? The Army was my first choice. Plus, the AF dicked me over.

But I will tell you that the Army does not take care of their people. You will be working longer hours, in a shittier job, with piss-poor equipment. The only chance you have of being happy in the Army is if you go SF. Regular Army is Terrible.

I thougt about Green Beret but I just don't know if I want to go through 4 years of training. Are Rangers treated badly also? I'm getting ready to talk to an Army recruiter though. Im sorry man, but could you seriously work a gate for 14 hours. and be treated like shit? BEcause noone likes AF cops. PLus, AF cops all think they're infantry or something. They all think they're better than what they are.

Oh I know... I've worked with them... I could not do it, but don't trade down...

Cool. You're a recruiter, right? I know you're SBU, but you're also a recruiter too, right? Lol, I still don't have a clue what SBU really is. What is the likely hood of me getting a Ranger or SF slot. I know you're not Army, but you have a lot more knowledge on how the military works.

You just have no idea how unhappy I am. They didn;t even give me a chance to try PJ, the job I was going in as. I'm just unhappy as hell everyday. PLus, the training here is really awful, at least I get weapons training next week. This place has made me a negative person, and I am not a negative person.
