Gathering up and stopping the production of WMDs? Nope...They never had any. Stopping the terrorist cell group AlQaeda from taking over? Nope. They weren't there before we invaded and all they are doing now is helping the Saudi Arabia Sunnis get control of Iraq again. Getting rid of Saddam? Hung him! Stealing their oil production for ourselves. Uh-huh. So, pray tell, why should Americans who can't find work that supports them and their families and provide healthcare to them all once they come home from fighting in an occupation, let alone get needed treatment for their injuries and just compensation, fight so that the wealthy 1% can have more? |

The insurgents are primarily composed of IRAQIS that see us as occupiers. The small number of foreign fighters, including al qaeda, will be driven out once we leave. Iraq will not become a terrorist haven and the slaughter that is happening NOW will diminish.
We already won in iraq. The "goal" was to rid iraq of saddam and his wmd's. Saddam is pushing up daisies and there are/were no wmd's.
Like bush said in May 2003 during his cowboy publicity stunt - MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
Our blood and treasure is being wasted for one reason - to give bush the appearance of being a "war" president and to create his "legacy".
His legacy will be to be remembered as the worst president ever.
We need to pull our soldiers out of iraq. We need to send some of them to afghanistan/pakistan and get the actual bastards that attacked us and supported that attack.

IF this was true, bush and company would be all over the media saying "I told you so" and pounding the war drums against syria.

As usual, the U N is showing how helpless they really are. We are addressing a far worse problem than Darfur IN IRAQ | EXCUSE ME?
What do you mean iraq picked us?
Was it iraq that attacked us on 9/11, yes or no?

There was absolutely no motivation for him to do anything, especially considering him and Al Qaeda were not on good terms. Anything said otherwise is a lie, because they just plain hated each other. Saddam was a despot, and he would NEVER put weapons into the hands of rogue factions in his country. That's just plain stupid for any despot to do.

I believe the WMD's are now in Syria. We could not let things slide like that which happened prior to WWII. BTW America is not a country that occupies another countries. If we were then Great Britain, France, Germany, Japan, and others would still be subordinate to American rule.
| THEY STILL ARE!!!! That's how imperialism works. You don't rule countries, but they're still kissing your feet.
